Saturday, May 2, 2009 - we enjoyed a tremendous Baby Shower, Reunion, general good time at Maria and Israel Carruyo's house. Maria planned and decorated beautifully - everything was beyond perfect. The cake was a work of art, the buffet amazing. Maria made her special iced tea and Mimosa's. 
There were three expectant mom's in attendance - Ceci, Tammy and Mariela. We played games, organized by Tammy and Hilda, and Tico monopolized the prizes. But mostly we visited and enjoyed the company of dear friends we hadn't s
een for ages.
een for ages. Tammy and Jon and Sienna came in from Chicago. Linda travelled from Oklahoma, Caroline and Victor from Atlanta, Eugenia and Heather made a 9-hour, 2 day drive down from the Florida Panhandle, Aloha and Tico came over from Sanibel. We happily shared their visits with friends from closer-by, Hilda, Mariela, Egidia, Lili, Masiel, Andreina and Juan, Ena, Adriana, Marisol, Greys, Harold, Mauricio... it was a perfect, happy day.
We will cherish forever the memories of this wonderful day - and thank all who contributed through planning, cooking, travelling, playing and visiting with us.
To Ceci, Jane, Maria and the rest, everything was so delicately prepared and arranged. Congratulations for putting this beautiful BS for Ceci. She looks happy and beautiful. Eager to have her and the baby in Maracaibo. I feel a grandma already.
